Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Salem, Virginia. This assignment begins 09/28/2026, runs 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.
The RN must hold an active nursing license, a nursing degree, BLS and ACLS, and have at least 18 months of recent acute care PACU experience. Travel perks include housing options, weekly pay, and benefits.
Qualifications
- Active RN license required.
- Degree from accredited nursing program.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- 18+ months of recent Acute Care PACU experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Monitor patients waking from anesthesia and determine discharge/transfer.
