TotalMed RN seeks a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Oregon City, Oregon. The PACU RN will care for post-operative patients, monitor recovery, and coordinate with the surgical team.

The role requires ACLS/BLS and 1 year of acute care experience. Typical duties include patient observation, care plan development, and safe transfer to the next unit, with a 13-week assignment and 40 hours weekly at 10-hour days.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year acute care experience required.
• 13-week travel assignment.
• 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-anesthesia patients.
• Monitor patients for condition changes and report to physician.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient’s condition.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to transfer to a room.
