TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Newton Lower Falls, Massachusetts. The role requires ACLS/BLS/PALS and 1–2 years of acute care experience, with a 13-week assignment and 40 hours per week on 10-hour night shifts.

As a PACU RN, you will monitor post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe discharge to a bed. This position offers travel benefits and a supportive agency environment.

Qualificações

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• PACU experience preferred for faster ramp-up.

Responsabilidades

• Provide observation and care for post-anesthesia patients as they recover.
• Develop individualized PACU care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor patients for changes and report to the physician promptly.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
