Job summary

WCS Healthcare Partners in Newton, MA is seeking a travel nurse RN to join the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The RN will care for patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor vitals, and educate families on post-operative care.

This 12-week assignment requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years RN experience (1 year PACU), current BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, and strong communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced academic medical

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years RN experience with at least 1 year in a PACU setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure comfort and safety post-surgery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery.
