Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. The RN will care for post-anesthesia patients in the PACU, monitor vitals and ensure safe emergence from anesthesia, and adhere to all applicable standards of practice.

Qualifikationen

• Current RN licensure in the state of work.
• One year PACU experience preferred.
• CPAN or CAPA certification preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification per contract requirements.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Aufgaben

• Observe and treat PACU patients post-operation.
• Monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to ensure safe waking from anesthesia.
• Ensure proper sedation wear-off and detect adverse reactions.
• Support patient recovery and respond to any complications as needed.
