Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The PACU RN will support high-acuity, high-volume recovery care after vascular, general, thoracic, gynecology, neuro, orthopedic surgeries, including ventricular drain monitoring and critical post-operative assessments.

The role involves shifts starting as early as 0700 and may rotate, with responsibilities covering post-anesthesia care, ventilator/ICP drain

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in nursing.
• BSN or ADN degree.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year PACU/ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for high-acuity PACU patients post-surgery.
• Monitor ventricular/ICP drains, vasoactive/sedative infusions, chest tubes and trachs.
• Provide post-operative assessments and rapid response to changes in patient status.
• Work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule in a high-volume recovery unit.
