The PACU RN will recover patients from anesthesia and monitor them during waking and discharge, requiring an active RN license and a degree from an accredited nursing program. BLS and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• At least 18 months of recent PACU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients as they wake and discharge or transfer them as needed.
