Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Huntington, West Virginia. The role involves post-anesthesia care, assessing recovery, and coordinating with the surgical team.

The position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour daytime shifts. Travel staff receive competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, supporting a smooth assignment and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications preferred.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients post-anesthesia recovery and monitor vitals.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in PACU.
• Document patient status and discharge planning details.
• Collaborate with surgical team to coordinate care.
• Handoff patients to subsequent units to ensure continuity of care.
