Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN PACU for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, AK. The role focuses on post-anesthesia recovery, with nights, 40 hours per week and a 8-hour shift. Start date 10/05/2026, travel position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of PACU experience, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred: PALS/ENPC and related licenses as required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess post-anesthesia recovery and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Document patient conditions and progress in medical records.
• Coordinate care with surgical team and discharge planning.
• Respond to emergencies using PACU standards and procedures.
