Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel RN PACU in Lancaster, Ohio for an 8-week assignment. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM, four 9-hour days. Weekend call required one day every six weeks, plus 4–5 night calls in the same period.

The Staff RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, document accurately, educate patients and families, and follow physician orders with safety in mind. Ohio license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program leading to Diploma/Associates/Bachelor in Nursing.
• Valid Ohio nursing license.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous RN experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per the nursing process.
• Provide quality care based on assessment and plans of care.
• Educate patients and families from admission through discharge.
• Document the nursing process/pathway accurately and thoroughly.
• Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
• Implement physician orders as prescribed.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available for patient care.
