Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Travel PACU Registered Nurse for a hospital contract in Huntington, West Virginia. This 13-week assignment requires a 3x12-hour schedule (05:00–17:30) and provides opportunities in the perioperative care setting.

ACLS, CLS and PALS are required. You will deliver pre- and post-operative care, support endoscopy and pain management, and rotate shifts to cover department hours from 5am to 9pm Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• ACLS, CLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Travel assignment requires flexibility for a 13-week, 3x12-hour schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care within the outpatient surgery department.
• Support outpatient endoscopy, pain management, and surgery patients across specialties.
• Rotate shifts 5a–5:30p, covering department hours Monday–Friday and maintaining patient safety.

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care within the outpatient surgery department.
  
• Support outpatient endoscopy, pain management, and surgery patients across various specialties including neurosurgery, urology, orthopedics, and general surgery.
  
• Rotate shifts between 5a-1730, ensuring coverage during department hours from 5am to 9pm Monday through Friday.
  
• Adhere to departmental protocols and maintain high standards of patient safety and care.
