Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lumberton, NC. The selected nurse will provide post-anesthesia care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe discharge planning.

The role requires 1 year of PACU experience, a valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and offers competitive pay and benefits. Travel assignments include 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer medications per post-anesthesia care protocols.
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical team for post-operative care and discharges.
