Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse position in an outpatient surgery center located in the area. The role involves providing anesthesia recovery, airway management, and pain control to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The successful candidate will work day shifts with a standard schedule based on the outlined hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications, at least 5 years of nursing experience including 3 years in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management knowledge. Ability to work in preoperative (preop) and extended care units. Must have completed references prior to submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) certification, 2 years of critical care experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Additional Information: Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius may be required at any time during the assignment. Must provide two references from the most recent employer at the time of submittal. All employment history must include dates worked, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility.
