Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Outpatient Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. The role involves 40 hours per week, dayshift, with potential to float to other local Radiation Therapy sites as approved by management.

Requirements include ARRT-T and BLS, 2+ years of experience, and proficiency with Varian Truebeam accelerators.EMR systems EPIC/ARIA are used for patient records, and benefits include weekly pay and health coverage through TotalMed

Qualifications

ARRT certification (Radiation Therapist) or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Treat outpatient cancer patients with radiation therapy.
Operate Varian Truebeam linear accelerators.
Maintain EMR documentation in EPIC/ARIA.
Travel to multiple Charlotte-area sites as needed.

Department Information:

Average patients/day: Typically, we treat anywhere from 60 – 100 patient per day
Department runs 3 machines daily
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years
Will you accept a first‑time traveler? Yes

Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

Radiotherapy Technologist (ARRT-T

Technology/Equipment:

EMR: EPIC/Aria
Department specific Equipment: Must be proficient in the use of Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

Outpatient ambulatory cancer patients requiring radiation therapy

Skills required:

Experience with the equipment specified below and various cancer diagnoses (seek manager approval otherwise)

Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home

Floating: If yes, where?

Potentially, may be needed to float to other Radiation Therapy sites in greater Charlotte – manager approval if not comfortable with this
