Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in West Hartford, Connecticut. The role involves 40 hours weekly, 8-hour shifts, and float coverage among nearby outpatient clinics under licensed PT supervision.

You will provide one-on-one patient care, with emphasis on orthopedic manual therapy, vestibular rehab, concussion, and sports medicine in a fast-paced clinical setting. FAQs cover licensing and BLS as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Outpatient experience required.

Responsibilities

• Float between nearby outpatient clinics may be required.
• One-on-one patient care with 30-minute treatments.
• Experience in orthopedic manual therapy, vestibular rehab, concussion, and sports medicine is part of the clinical environment.
• Two longer days are part of the weekly schedule.
• Fridays have an early end, with the last patient scheduled at 2 PM.
• Unpaid lunch break: 30 minutes.
• Prompt EMR is used.
