Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient role in a Critical Access Hospital setting in Plains, Montana. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, typically 4 days of 10 hours, and occasional weekend coverage as needed.

The role requires 1 year of PT experience, BLS, and licensure as applicable. You will collaborate with care teams across acute and outpatient settings to improve mobility and function.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of PT experience
BLS certification required
License required if applicable
Experience across acute, outpatient, rehab hospital, and SNF settings
Proficient in assessments and vital signs
Experience with post-op and stroke rehab
Proficient documentation of evaluations and care plans
Equipment: gait belts, beds, cryotherapy, ultrasound

Responsibilities

Develop home exercise programs
Educate patients and families on safety and injury prevention
Collaborate with providers across care settings
Evaluate and design individualized treatment plans
Contribute to patient mobility and pain reduction goals
