Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience to treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient clinic setting. The role includes a Monday–Friday AM shift, with a 40-hour workweek and a caseload of about 11 patients per day.

Clinicians are supported by PTA staff and real-time, compliant documentation via AI scribe technology. A current state PT license is required where applicable, and travel/licensure reimbursements are available.

Qualifications

• Current state PT license required if applicable.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Experience treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting treating adult and geriatric patients.
• Caseload of approximately 11 patients per 8-hour day.
• 60-minute evaluation times.
• Types of cases include Achilles tendonitis, ACL tears, post-op back pain, calf strain, carpal tunnel syndrome, disc herniation, fractures, low back pain, meniscus tears, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, plantar fasciitis, postural dysfunction, rotator cuff conditions, SI joint dysfunction, stenosis, TMJ dysfunction, and total joint replacement.
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, AM shift, 5x8s totaling 40 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule structure.
• Uses NextGen for documentation.
• Supported by a PTA on staff.
• No on-call requirements.
• Clinicians are supported by generative AI documentation scribe technology for real-time, compliant clinical documentation.
• Dress code includes polo and sneakers or business casual attire, with frequent dress-down days.
