Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. The role is 40 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday 08:00–16:30 shift, and no weekend rotation. Requires 1+ year outpatient PT experience, ME license, and a BA/BS in Physical Therapy.

BLS certification, manual therapy, and exercise science skills are required. You will work in a hospital-based outpatient setting using Cerner EMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience.
• ME state licensure required if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
• Manual therapy and exercise science skills required.
• Experience providing patient education, including adaptive equipment.

Responsibilities

• Treat outpatient adults and school-aged children in a hospital-based outpatient setting.
• Perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments following a single patient care model.
• Manage a caseload of 8–10 patients per day.
• Document in Cerner EMR.
• Work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30.
• No weekend rotation or on-call requirements.
• Rarely float to inpatient coverage in the same building.
