Critical Connection, inc is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in California, MD. The outpatient orthopedic clinic emphasizes hands-on patient care, structured treatment plans, and a collaborative rehab team.

Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will deliver skilled treatments, implement plans, document progress, and educate patients for home programs. New grads are welcome and mentorship is provided.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Active (or pending) state PTA license.
New Grad PTAs welcome.
Outpatient experience preferred, but not required.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans.
Provide 1:1 patient care focused on functional improvement and recovery.
Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress to the supervising PT.
Assist with therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities as appropriate.
Document treatments and patient progress accurately and timely.
