Pioneer Healthcare Services in Seattle, WA is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 26-week assignment. This on-site, day-shift role offers 40 hours per week in an outpatient setting.

You will implement treatment plans, guide therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, educate patients, document sessions, and collaborate with the supervising therapist to support discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited PTA program.
• Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
• WA PTA licensure/certification.
• First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed.
