ARMStaffing is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant for a travel assignment in Lehigh Acres, Florida. The role supports the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans and training patients with orthotics and assistive devices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited school.
• CAPTE Certified.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active or applicable state license.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and promote patient and employee safety, adhering to facility guidelines and safety protocols.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic interventions aimed at achieving patients’ long-term goals.
• Train patients in the use of orthotics, prosthetics, and assistive devices.
• Demonstrate proper use of therapeutic modalities and equipment.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment and make necessary interventions.
• Document patient progress, response to treatment, and maintain a clean treatment environment.
• Establish professional relationships with patients and collaborate with healthcare disciplines regarding therapy administered.
• Participate in team conferences and special projects aimed at enhancing patient care quality.
