Job summary

Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient experience to treat orthopedic and neurologic patients in a clinic setting.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting treating post-surgical and general orthopedic conditions (80%), lymphedema care (10%), and neurologic conditions (10%)
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, with negotiable options of five 8-hour days, four 9-hour days plus a half day, or four 10-hour days
• Caseload of approximately 10 visits per day
• Uses Epic for charting
• No on-call or weekend requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist required if applicable
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with orthopedic conditions including cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op spinal/shoulder/cervical surgery, and total joint replacements
• Experience with neurologic conditions including stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and related disorders preferred

• Open to first-time travelers who meet experience requirements
• Completion of all facility-specific modules required within the first week of assignment
• Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or affiliates must disclose this information for eligibility review
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
• Accepts local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility
