Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, and potential for rehabilitation. The PT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals, set realistic and achievable objectives, document patient condition, and educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.

• Develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year of experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or be in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
