American Traveler is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Bartonsville, PA. The role is 40 hours per week, dayshift, Monday–Friday, with 8-hour shifts and no on-call requirements.

Requirements include a PA or compact PT license, BLS/CPR, and EPIC charting experience. Candidates with orthopedic and neurologic care experience and strong assessment skills are preferred. Local candidates within 50 miles may have a different rate.

• Experience with neurologic conditions such as stroke rehabilitation, TBI, MS, cognitive disorders.
• Proficiency in assessment, documentation and care planning including evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning.
• Experience with modalities such as cryotherapy, moist heat, TENS, and ultrasound.
• Experience with equipment including crutches, gait belts, and walkers.
• Knowledge of billing types including Medicare B, commercial, Medicaid, and workers compensation.

Description

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting within the PT Outpatient unit
• Schedule is Monday-Friday with rotating day/mid shifts (5x8 hours, 7:00-15:00 or 11:00-19:00)
• Manager may consider a 4x10 schedule
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• Uses EPIC for charting

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a different rate
• Local rate differential applies
• RTO must be submitted prior to consideration and cannot be added afterward
• PA fingerprint clearance required within one week of signing, which may require travel over 100 miles
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• Pass/fail clinical exam required for clearance, with a maximum of 3 attempts
• Two valid professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years and copies of certifications required for consideration
