Cross Country Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. The outpatient PT will evaluate patients, develop and modify individualized treatment plans, and support functional recovery and community reintegration.

Schedule is 8-hour days, 40 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment starting 11/23/2026. Requires a PT degree, 6+ months outpatient experience, CPR certification, and an active SC license.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Six months to more than one year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable professional license in the state where services are performed.

Responsibilities

  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.

• Additional Information:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and use clinical reasoning to establish treatment plans and functional goals.
  • Deliver individualized outpatient treatment programs and modify care plans as patient needs change.
  • Complete clear, accurate, timely medical record documentation, including treatment goals, functional assessments, medical necessity documentation, and charge entry.
  • Provide care under valid physician orders and applicable authorization requirements.
  • Educate patients, families, students, and colleagues regarding therapy and care needs.
  • Participate in student education and supervision when assigned.
  • Maintain professional licensure and fulfill state‑mandated continuing education requirements.
  • Follow applicable state practice acts, regulatory requirements, professional standards, safety procedures, confidentiality expectations, and patient care policies.
