Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Castro Valley, California. The OT will join outpatient team on a 13-week contract starting January 4, 2027, working Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
Occupational Therapy license / Licensure in the state of practice.
Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Tests and evaluates the extent of a patient's disability to ensure proper treatment.
Plans therapy program, establishes treatment goals and administers treatment to restore body functions.
Provides patients and family with treatment plan and home exercise instructions.
Upgrades treatment plan as patient progresses.
Assesses clinical signs to determine effectiveness and progress toward goals.
Discharges patient when maximum benefit is reached.
Documents Occupational therapy management and patient progress.
Maintains medical records for each patient.
