Job Details

• Location: Richmond, VA
• Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8‑hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM; weekends rotate
• Required Qualifications: Certification in occupational therapy assistance; education requirements as per state licensure; recent outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred; minimum of 0 years of experience; licensed occupational therapy assistant; location in Virginia
• Preferred Qualifications: Hospital and inpatient rehab experience; stroke evaluation and treatment experience
• Additional Information: Unit utilizes Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego equipment; staff includes 10 occupational therapy/physical therapy teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 technician; may float to acute hospital if rehab census is low; use of AIDET communication and immediate service recovery is expected; manual therapy for neuro re‑education, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, neuromuscular re‑education, self‑care, and functional electrical stimulation procedures are performed; dress code requires black scrub bottoms and royal blue tops; attached unit‑specific policies and guidelines.
