TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Juneau, Alaska. The role involves working under the supervision of an OT to implement treatment plans and help patients of all ages improve daily living skills.

Requirements include BLS, NBCOT (COTA), and state licensure, with 1 year of OTA experience. The position offers a travel assignment with 10-hour shifts and opportunities to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Must have BLS and NBCOT (COTA).
• 1 year of OTA experience required.
• State licensure required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately and timely per facility/state guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
• Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.
