Job summary
TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. You will work 40 hours weekly, dayshift, under OT supervision to implement tailored treatment plans and help patients of all ages improve daily living skills.
The ideal candidate has 1 year OTA experience, a current BLS, NBCOT COTA certification, and state licensure. Responsibilities include patient intervention, progress documentation, and interdisciplinary
Qualifications
- 1 year of OTA experience required.
- COTA NBCOT certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- State licensure required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions under supervision of OT.
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to OT.
- Document patient performance and progress per guidelines.
- Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
- Educate patients and families on daily living techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
- Comply with licensing rules and facility standards.
