Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Rockford, IL. The OT will work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts, in an acute care setting, evaluating patients and developing plans of care to improve daily living skills.

Requirements include 1 year of OT experience (6 months possible for exceptional candidates), BLS, NBCOT-OTR certification, and state licensing. Travel benefits and a robust support network are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS certification required.
• NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to improve daily living activities.
• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations and track patient progress.
• Create and adjust treatment plans and goals.
• Educate patients and families on care needs and home/workplace adaptations.
• Document patient progress and ensure compliance with guidelines.
