Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Miami, Florida. The OT will evaluate and treat patients, develop plans of care, and educate families and caregivers while coordinating with physicians and other clinicians.

The position runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week with a 10-hour daytime shift. Candidates should have NBCOT-OTR certification and BLS, with state licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, observe and assess tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs.
• Develop treatment plans with goals and activities.
• Assist patients with disabilities in daily tasks.
• Assess home/workplace for improvements and provide education to family and employer.
• Recommend equipment and provide usage instructions.
• Document activities and progress for evaluations and reporting.
• Ensure timely documentation per state/insurance guidelines.
