Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Deer Lodge, Montana. The role requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts. Candidates should have NBCOT-OTR, BLS, and state licensure, with 1 year of experience preferred.

The OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and educate families while coordinating with physicians. This is a travel position with potential for additional opportunities across the network.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR national certification with state licensing are required.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and understand anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient’s condition and needs; develop a plan of care with goals.
• Review medical history and observe tasks to assess capabilities.
• Educate family and employer on care needs and accommodations.
• Assess home or workplace for safety and improvements; document progress for billing and reporting.
