Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Crown Point, Indiana. The OT will work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour days, starting 11/23/2026.

A minimum of 6 months experience is required, though new grads are welcome, and NBCOT-OTR and BLS certifications are required. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating individualized treatment plans, assisting with daily activities, and educating families and employers on accommodations.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR national certification with state licensing required.
• OTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate condition and needs; develop a treatment plan with goals.
• Help patients with various disabilities perform tasks and educate families.
• Assess home/workplace for potential improvements and document progress.
• Provide timely documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
