Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Corvallis, OR. The OT will work 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts, in an acute care setting to evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to improve daily living skills.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (1 year preferred), BLS and NBCOT-OTR with state licensing. See total duties and responsibilities in the posting. Benefits include weekly pay, guaranteed hours, CE, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• 6 months of OT experience required; 1 year preferred.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR national certification with state-specific licensing required.
• OTs should be able to stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to improve daily living skills.
• Perform assessments, observe tasks, and determine patient needs.
• Educate patients, families and employers on care and accommodations.
• Document progress and ensure billing and physician reporting requirements are met.
• Review medical history and develop treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
