HealthForce Healthcare seeks an Occupational Therapist – General for a travel assignment in Florence, Alabama. Start date 10/12/2026 for a 13-week contract with weekly pay of $1,861–$2,000 and 35 guaranteed hours per week.

Shift runs 08:00–16:30 in a skilled nursing facility. The role emphasizes comprehensive evaluations, evidence-based treatment plans, and collaboration with an interprofessional team to enhance residents’ ADLs and mobility.

Qualifications

• Availability to begin 10/12/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment.
• Willingness to travel to a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Ability to deliver 35 guaranteed hours per week.
• Flexibility to work the 08:00–16:30 shift.
• Proficiency with standard therapy documentation and EHRs.
• Prior geriatric or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations for residents to determine functional needs and goals.
• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to maximize independence and safety in daily activities.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with facility requirements.
• Collaborate with an interprofessional team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and adaptive equipment use.
