Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting in Washington. The role requires at least 1 year of acute care experience and a WA license, with first-time travelers welcome to apply.

The position features a day shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM), patient ratios around 8–9 to 1, and weekends rotating roughly every 3–4 weeks. EPIC EMR is used for charting, with possible float to sister facilities and generous housing/benefits.

Qualifications

• WA license required for OT practice
• 1 year of acute care experience required
• IPR experience is a plus
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Compact license must be in hand at submission
• Experience with edema massage, kinesiotaping, prosthetics/orthotics, functional splints, orthoplast and static splints

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services in an Acute Care Hospital setting within a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
• Work day shift on a 5x8 schedule (7:00 AM–3:00 PM)
• Maintain patient ratios around 8–9 to 1
• Rotate weekends about every 3–4 weeks
• Possible unit-to-unit float within facility
• Use Epic EMR for charting
• Support an Acute Care and Adult Rehabilitation facility team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team
• Open to first-time travelers
• Travelers may float to sister facilities near site
• No parking fees at facility
• RTO requests must be submitted with application
• Local candidates may receive a lower bill rate
• Non-local candidates may be required to live outside 50-mile radius
