Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy services in an acute care setting. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and help patients improve daily living skills while supporting families and care teams.

Responsibilities include evaluating environments, instructing on equipment use, documenting progress, and coordinating with healthcare professionals during daytime shifts for travel assignments across diverse clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of OT experience; new grads encouraged.
• Valid NBCOT-OTR certification.
• Current state-specific OT license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' medical history and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Assist patients in improving daily living skills in Acute Care.
• Evaluate home and workplace environments for safety and accessibility.
• Educate families and employers on therapy goals and equipment use.
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate with healthcare teams.
