Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The OT will evaluate and develop plans of care for patients to improve daily living skills, within an acute care setting. 13-week duration, 40 hours per week, dayshift.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (new grads welcome), BLS, NBCOT-OTR certification, and state licensing. The role emphasizes documentation, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, observe tasks, and assess condition.
• Develop a treatment plan with goals and activities to achieve daily living skills.
• Evaluate home or workplace for functional improvements.
• Educate family and employer on accommodating and caring for the patient.
• Provide timely documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
