Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts and a flexible schedule, starting 08/24/2026.

This travel position includes inpatient and/or outpatient settings, with ND licensure and NBCOT prerequisites. You will evaluate and treat patients, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and contribute to discharge planning while ensuring licensure

Qualifications

• 2+ years of occupational therapy experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Occupational Therapist certification from the North Dakota State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) prior to start date.
• Current driver's license with an acceptable driving record prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in compliance with licensure standards and documented procedures.
• Orient patients and families regarding therapy purposes and procedures.
• Provide patient education and family teaching related to needs.
• Coordinate treatment schedules with interdisciplinary disciplines using proper scheduling procedures.
• Monitor program effectiveness and develop new programs as necessary.
• Conduct pain assessments and take appropriate actions per SOPs.
• Document required patient information, precautions, orders, and plans of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to document discharge plans.
• Identify changes in patient condition and take appropriate actions with reporting and staffing.
• Provide supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants per licensure and care standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet department needs.
