Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Florence, SC. The OT will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and work in acute care settings.

Must have 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates) with BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification and state licensing. Responsibilities include evaluating conditions, creating goals, educating families, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months OT experience; new grads considered.
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR certification with state license.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history, interview patients, and observe task performance.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with goals and activities.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Assess home/work environments for improvements.
• Educate family and employer on care and accommodations.
• Document progress per guidelines and for billing.
• Maintain timely documentation.
