Job summary

Smile Brands is seeking a Traveling Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant to work closely with our Dentist across California. You will assist with procedures, prepare rooms, take X-rays and impressions, and help manage records while delivering compassionate patient care.

The role requires an active RDA license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least two years of orthodontic experience, with willingness to travel and mileage paid.

Qualifications

• CPR or BLS certification required
• RDA license must be current
• Minimum 2 years of orthodontic experience
• Willing to travel with paid mileage

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient procedures and adjustments
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to OSHA standards
• Take dental impressions, intraoral scans, X-rays, and photographs
• Bonding and debonding braces and appliances
• Maintain patient charts and update treatment notes
• Provide excellent patient comfort and customer service
