Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina. The role involves scrubbing in, maintaining asepsis, and assisting the surgical team in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Requirements include CST certification (NBSTSA), BLS, and CVOR experience, plus a high school diploma or GED. The assignment runs 12 weeks with 40 hours/week and may include call shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or military training in Surgical Technology.
• NBSTSA-Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• BLS certification required.
• CVOR experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Asepsis, scrubbing duties and equipment care skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in and assist in the operating room with the surgical team.
• Maintain asepsis and proper handling of instruments and equipment.
• Support RNs and surgeons to ensure patient safety and efficient care.
• Organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
