Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for a 13-week assignment in Palo Alto, California. The role involves supporting the surgical team, preparing instruments, maintaining aseptic technique, and assisting surgeons across procedures.

The Surgical Technician II will work a 10-hour day on a rotating shift, averaging 40 hours per week, with travel stipends and benefits provided by Cross Country. Prior accredited program completion and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program recognized by NBSTA or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Two or more years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work independently and apply clinical judgment.

Responsabilités

• Provide support during surgical procedures across all areas, assisting with instrumentation and room preparation.
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure operatory readiness.
• Assist with patient transport and indirect patient care as needed.
