Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for a travel assignment in Helena, Montana. The role requires performing surgical technologist duties in an operating room, with a focus on heavy total joint and orthopedic surgeries, and collaboration with the OR team to ensure patient safety and efficient care.

Travel assignment includes 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, and a start date in October 2026 with a 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in surgical technology, travel experience required
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must be experienced in heavy total joint and orthopedic surgeries
• Must be a team player, motivated, and able to stay on task
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Must load all demographic information at submission including address, email, full date of birth, social security number, and full name

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized surgical assistance in an operating room setting
• Perform surgical technologist duties during elective and emergent surgeries
• Support orthopedic, gynecological, robotic, urology, general, ENT, and spine procedures
• Collaborate with OR team to ensure patient safety and efficiency
