Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a Surgical Technician for a travel assignment in Fargo, North Dakota. The role involves assisting surgical teams across orthopedic, ENT, plastic, general, and trauma cases in a high-volume OR environment.

Robotics experience and AHA BLS are required for this busy acute-care facility. The position offers day shifts of 10 hours, a minimum 40 hours per week, and call coverage 1–2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technician experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in a busy acute-care facility with more than 15 operating room suites.
• Level I trauma experience.
• Robotics experience.
• Current listing on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at least 1 week before the start date. Proof of initiation of the UAP application process within 3 business days of offer acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and healthcare team with surgical care according to established policies and procedures.
• Primary procedures include orthopedic, plastic surgery, ENT, general surgery and trauma cases.
• Support departmental operations across multiple operating rooms in a high-volume setting.
• Scrub attire is provided.
