American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Georgia. Active GA or Compact RN license required, with BLS certification and at least 2 years of RN experience in robotics, spine, total joints, and general surgery.

This travel assignment runs 13 weeks, requires working 4x10-hour AM shifts totaling 40 hours per week, with a 30-minute meal break. On-call duties include weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage; travel experience preferred and local candidates may be

Qualifications

• Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Experience in robotics, spine, total joints, and general surgical procedures required
• Travel experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Cases include robotics, spine, total joints, and general surgery
• AM shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break included in shift
• On-call responsibilities required including weekday, weekend, and holiday call (approximately 1-2 call days per month)
• 13-week assignment length
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston Methodist permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is strictly limited: a maximum of 5 days off if not near a holiday, or 3 days if requested on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
• Holiday coverage is required as part of the assignment
