The candidate must have 18 months of recent Acute Care Surgery experience, an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide OR nursing care to patients before, during and after surgery.
• Serve as circulating and/or scrub nurse as needed.
• Assist in preparation of surgical instruments and maintain sterile field.
• Educate patients and coordinate perioperative care with the surgical team.
