Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts in the OR, for a 13-week assignment.

The role requires 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel benefits include housing options, health insurance, and per diem support.

Qualifications

• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
