MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Westerville, Ohio. This role requires 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.
• Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse as applicable.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
