Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Lewiston, ID. The role requires dayshift, 8-hour blocks, 40 hours per week, ASAP start, and travel eligibility.

The Operating Room RN will support perioperative care, prepare the OR, manage instruments, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies for each procedure.
• Assists in positioning patients and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and communicates with the team.
• Documents perioperative care and handoffs to ensure continuity of care.
• Restocks and cleans the OR between cases following infection control protocols.
